#BeKind21 invites the public to help make kindness, to ourselves and our communities, a habit by practicing an act of kindness each day from September 1st to September 21st. Based on the idea that performing an action for 21 consecutive days helps to turn it into a habit, this challenge is an opportunity to foster a culture of kindness, compassion, wellness, and advocacy this fall when students and their families head into new school environments and young people across communities will be even more civically engaged than they are now. This year's campaign has been uniquely designed to be responsive to today's movements, for each of you, to showcase that kindness is not an empty gesture; rather, kindness is a verb. To be kind is to speak up. To be kind is to prioritize your mental wellness. To be kind is to advocate for a world that values, validates, and respects all people.
