SUBJECT: Leopard Spots Oct. 24: Your Lost Items, Found!

Tuesday - Oct. 24, 2023

LES will end a fun-filled month with our Halloween Day Parade on Tuesday, Oct. 31st at 1:30pm. Parents are welcome to attend and watch the parade, but please do not enter campus before 1:15pm.  Kindly review the Halloween guidance Principal Barclay sent out October 12th, which is also included farther down in this newsletter.

And if you've never attended a PTA meeting but wanted to, this Thursday may be your chance. We are holding this month’s meeting virtually, via Zoom, which we hope will make it more accessible to more families.  See details below on how to attend.

As we move into cooler weather, we expect to see thicker jackets and more layers.  With that, we ask you to please take a look at the Lost and Found when you are on campus, because you may be surprised to see a familiar item or two!  The Lost & Found station will be conveniently located outside in the quad this Wednesday at dismissal (1:42) as well as on Friday before school (at 8:15) for families to look through. All other times, Lost & Found is located in the multipurpose room, where students can check for their missing items at recesses, lunch, etc.  A huge THANK YOU to the amazing, well-organized Adrienne Gilbertson, our Lost and Found chair, for adding hanging racks and organizing all the lost items so that it's easier to view each one.

Have a wonderful week!

Andi & Ria
