NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that theGoverning Boardof the Lafayette School
District will hold a public hearing on a proposal for the District to submit a parcel tax
measure to the District's voters at the statewide election to be held on June 2, 2026.
The proposal is that the District ask the voters for approval to levy a qualified special
tax (parcel tax) on all taxable, non-exempt real property within the District, replacing
and increasing the existing Measure L parcel tax, in order to raise funds to support
critical educational programs and services in the Lafayette schools.

The public hearing will be held at 4:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the
matter may be heard, as a part of a special meeting of theGoverning Board, on
March 3, 2026. TheBoardwill consider taking final action on the proposal at
that meeting. TheBoardmeeting will be held in the Stanley Middle School
Library, 3455 School Street, Lafayette, California.
