SOCIAL MEDIA CODE OF CONDUCT

Online/Social Media:

The PTA has a Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts which allow parents to receive and respond to messages about school events. We encourage parents to positively participate if you wish.
‘Think before you post’ We ask that social media, whether public or private, should not be used to fuel campaigns and voice complaints against the school, staff, parents or children. All concerns should be addressed directly to the adults involved. Online activity which we consider inappropriate:
- Identifying or posting images/videos of children without parental consent.
- Threatening or intimidating comments about the staff, children or other parents.
- Emails circulated or sent directly with abusive or personal comments about the staff, children or parents.

Thank you for abiding by this code at our school. Together we create a positive and uplifting environment not only for students but also for all who work and visit our school. *It is important for parents to share this policy with other adults who may be on campus (caregivers, grandparents, relatives).
