Book Swap

Need some new books for Winter Break Reading? We have a solution! The library will turn into a book swap meet. Kids bring in books they would like to pass on (in good condition please) and receive tickets for each book they donated. In turn, they use the ticket to get new-to-them books from the collection. What a deal!

Here’s what to do:

✔ Bring in up to 20 books max. All elementary grade level children’s books, chapter books, and middle grade books in good condition are welcome!
✔ Get a ticket for each book donated.
✔ Exchange books for tickets Tuesday before school, Tuesday morning during class, Tuesday after school, and Wednesday and Thursday before school.
✔ Swap books starting at lunchtime on Wednesday—no earlier.
✔ Teachers are welcome at any time on Thursday to choose books—no need to swap.

Students can drop off books at any time during the book swap; but dropping off books early will help to make this event as successful as possible.
