The 2024-25 LES Book Fair is scheduled for the week of May 12, 2025!
The book fair will be open to students during select school hours & to all students and families after school and during Open House! Instead of sending your student to school with cash, parents/guardians will be able to set up an account to deposit money if your student would like to shop for books during their designated lunch hours.
Don't forget to set up your student's eWallet account ahead of time for cashless, stress-less shopping. Friends and family can even contribute funds!
To set up your eWallet:
- Go to the LES Book Fair website: https://bookfairs.scholastic.
com/bf/ lafayetteelementaryschool17 - Scroll down to Before the Fair/eWallet and click the red button "GET STARTED"
- Click the red button "CREATE A NEW EWALLET FOR THIS FAIR"
- Click the option "I'm a parent creating an eWallet for a student"
- Fill in the child's first and last name, teacher's last name (teacher's first name is optional), and grade level.
- Click the red button "CREATE EWALLET"
- To load money onto your child's eWallet, click the red button "ENTER PAYMENT" and fill in the requested information. After you enter your credit card information and desired dollar amount, click the red button "CONFIRM PAYMENT," and your child is ready to spend their eWallet. You can print out your child's eWallet for them to bring in to the book fair, or we will have a list of eWallet users at the register with unique barcodes for each student.
- You can add funds later by clicking "MANAGE MY EWALLET"
- Family and friends can donate money to the eWallet using the "Share eWallet" option.
